I’m already blogging a few favs from this last weekends dreamy wedding. This wedding just made me happy. The entire day was so wonderful. I absolutely love working with couples who understand the process of what it takes to get amazing wedding photos. Elissa was so careful to make sure I had the time I needed to capture her day the way we both wanted. We were also very thankful for the beautiful weather we were blessed with in mid February. It was a tad chilly at times, but always worth it. One of my favorite parts of the day, (I literally have tons) was Elissa’s father’s speech. He spoke about how he prayed for Brian, and God provided. I won’t lie, I had tears in my eyes, as I’m sure many did. These weddings I get to be a part of are so personal. I’m just sitting there thinking, I GET to be apart of the most special day for these families. These amazing, wonderful families.
I love weddings at Southwind Hills, the staff there is so amazing to work with, not to mention the how beautiful everything is. So in preparation for my wedding, I have my usual prayer time in the car on the way to my venue. I just ask that God will help me to be the best photographer that I can be. I always feel so blessed and gracious at the end of the day, when I can lay my head on my pillow after an exhausting wedding, files are downloaded and the images are just what I had hoped for. I’m just so thankful……<3
